Written by a private patient at The Park Hospital - part of Circle Health Group 19th August 2024 I attended the Park Hospital in Nottingham on 26th June 2024 - and had a right inguinal hernia repaired under local anaesthetic by Mr Dutta. The operation was carried out smoothly - with no fuss or bother - and was almost totally pain-free. Inguinal Hernia repair under local anaesthetic is indeed a very nice way of doing the operation. Only a very few Surgeons these days offer this method for medically high risk patients.
